Validate a CFAA Fire Alarm Technician's Registration
This facility is to be used for the sole purpose of answering the following question:
"Does the Canadian Fire Alarm Association affirm that the identified person has successfully completed all three of the obligations undertaken by a person who wishes to become a fully-registered Fire Alarm Technician in good standing with the Canadian Fire Alarm Association?"
Those three obligations are:
(1) successful completion of the CFAA five-course Fire Alarm Technician Educational Program,
(2) successful completion of the one-year experience quotient, and
(3) current registration as a Fire Alarm Technician, in good standing, with the CFAA.

How current is the online database?
- The online CFAA Fire Alarm Technician Registry Database is refreshed daily.
- New CFAA Fire Alarm Technicians and reinstated expirees will be added to the registry within two to three weeks once their application has been approved.

- You must include the hyphen (-) in the third position of the technician number. |
Expired Registrations
- CFAA Fire Alarm Technicians with recently expired registrations remain on the CFAA Technician Registry Database for a one month grace period.
- These CFAA Fire Alarm Technicians will have been sent reminder notices in advance of their expiration date.
- Registered CFAA Fire Alarm Technicians will be removed from the database when their registrations have been in arrears for over a month.
- Each CFAA Fire Alarm Technician's registration expiry date appears on their Technician identification card.
